[News] Another Mexico Update

[Berkshire Mission]

    Hello Everybody

 

I have a little more info about our upcoming mission trip to Mexico in Feb.

I have attached a few more pictures; these are some of the medical sites

that we will be visiting. One place that they visited today had never had a

medical clinic in their town. A doctor would visit every few months for a

few hours but they are mostly cut off from medical care. We are trying to

make arrangements to get to that area. From what I am told it is a little

hard to get to with a vehicle.. We will see. 

Now for all the information that everybody has been asking about. 

The total cost of the trip this year is based on the following cost.

 

      1. All transportation and flights from Berkshire Hills Church and

Back, Bus cost in Mexico is very high!

      2. We will be staying at the University Linda Vista. They have very

nice dorm rooms with shower and bathrooms in each room. We will have enough

rooms to have a family in each room.  

      3. All food will be provided except one meal at the airport in

Mexico City.

      4. All day trip excursions.

      5. Maranatha's participant fee (which has increased by 60% since

last year)

      6. A portion of the cost of the medical supplies that we bring

      7. 300 Bibles and handouts for evangelism. VBS supplies

      8. Berkshire Mission t-shirt

      9. Water (purified)

      10. Bedding and towels at the school we will be staying at.

      11. 3 nights at a five star all inclusive resort on the beach in

CANCUN Mexico (on the way Home)

      12. Extra baggage fees for extra group luggage.

      Total cost per person $1600.00

 

At the end of our mission trip we will be staying three nights at a resort

in Cancun. This is an all inclusive resort. The only thing that we are not

paying for is things like motor boats, golf trips, scuba diving. This should

provide a little rest and relaxation when we are finished with the project.

We will fly back home from Cancun Airport. We have already started the

ticking process and put deposits down for the group. If you are still
