Hello, this is your Friend Pr. Rigo Dawkins from Berkshire School in
Guanaja, Honduras

 

Dear Friend:

 

The Berkshire Mission initiated in 2002 an ambitious project full of
challenges; but in spite of the challenges the team of Berkshire Mission
came to the island of Guajana with an intention, not to go away without
finishing the Adventist School in the Mitch community, name that whose
giving to that community after the devastation that the Hurricane Mitch left
on October, 1998. Our institution owes his name to this mission.

We are committed to the evangelizetion of young people on the Island of
Guanaja; to no young man or miss who comes to our offices requesting to
study we close the door, so that why seeking help for the 33 student  . If
you want to help to educate and evangelize children and young people of our
island, you can do so taking in account the following aspects:

1-      Because of our geographical settings, in a underprivileged
environment, the vast      

Majority of our constituency are unable to face their financial duty, (in
reality they only survive).

 

2-The neighboring Government schools free of cost and closer to home make it
a more easier alternative, but parents rather a Christ-Center education for
their sons and daughters.   

 

3-Hard financial crisis that for the last four years has hit the sea
industry affecting on a whole the welfare of the Guanaja Island.

 

5-The inability of the school to provide working industries that will enable
the students to enter a work for study program; due to our meager budget
that will not be possible.

Annie and Ramon have two children in our mission school. Ramon works as a
mason. His income is very small. With God's help and yours, we promise to
