[News] Mission Trip update

[Berkshire Mission]

Hello everybody

            I hope that everybody is well. I wanted to give you a quick
update as to what is going on with Berkshire Mission. We are in the very
beginning stages of looking at a project in Guatemala. I don’t have very
much information but I will tell you what I know. The project is a medical
building near the town of Poptun Guatemala. The building is 7000 square feet
and will consist of medical and dental offices for the community. Within
20km of the site is an international children’s care orphanage, (plenty of
work for the medical team) about an 1 ½ hours away is Tikal the largest
ancient ruined cities of the Maya civilization. We are just starting to put
some numbers together and making plans to go and look at the site, but we
are hoping for a price in the 1300.00 range. (Depends on airfare!) We are
probably going to cap the project around 40 people so if you have any
interest at all please email me back and I will put your name on the list.
We will be looking at the middle of Feb 2009 for the trip. Below is a
picture of the building site as it is now. I hope to hear from you soon and
I will pass mare info along as we get it.
