[Berkshire Mission]

Greetings Mission Friends
11-1-08

 

            Well my mission friends we are about to embark on another
mission trip to Machaquila, Guatemala. I can't wait to see how God is about
to use us, all of us, those who travel, those who support us with your
donations and prayers are about to be blessed again. I need each and every
one of you. We need medicine, Bibles, literature, v.b.s. supplies, small
Steps to Christ books, money to buy shoes and some cloths for the orphanage.
Our needs our great but our God is Greater. I always ask that each one of
you pray to see what God would have you do.

            Ok so here is a little news. Eric and I will leave Nov 14th for
our pretrip so that we can try to tie up some loose ends. The dates have
been set with the airlines. We will meet at the Church at 5pm on Feb 10th.
We will get our tickets check our bags and go over last minute details and
have some good food before we board the bus to JFK airport. Our flight
leaves at 1:55am and arrives in Flores Guatemala at 7:55am on Feb 11th. We
will leave Flores on Feb26th at 6:50pm and arrive at JFK at 2:00am on Feb
27th. We should arrive back at the church about 6:30am.

            Those of you that have signed up need to turn in your 250
deposit now. Eric will email or mail your application if you do not have
one. If you already have a application please send it back ASAP.  Again the
price of $1300.00 is only an estimate. I will set the exact price as soon as
I return. Those of you not traveling with the main group from Berkshire
Hills the price WILL be different so plan on a larger budget.

            I pray that all of you are praying or will pray for the mission
trip. Some of you have never been on a mission trip and would like to go.
Please write me r call me ASAP. I need many of you to donate money to help
buy the things I told you about. There is no other way to get it but to ask
for it. You will never regret giving to Gods work. You will receive a tax
receipt for all of your gifts.

            Several other needs I have. I need a another Dentist, people who
speak Spanish and Vacation Bible School Helpers

            Ok our pretrip meeting will be Dec 6th at 5pm. I would like
everybody that can to be there. I will have lots to share including
pictures, job assignments and any info that has changed. If you want bring a
friend or family member. 

            Remember to turn your applications in to Eric right away.
Ticketing will begin at the end of November. The airlines are having us
ticket a few months in advance this year so if you are waiting to sign up
for this trip now is the time to decide.
